½ onion, peeled and finely sliced
6 garlic cloves, peeled and finely sliced
Four 14½ ounce cans crushed tomatoes
Salt
2 to 3 teaspoons of dried chill flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
6 fresh basil leaves
1 pound pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion until translucent, ad garlic and cook.

Pour in tomatoes, a pinch of salt, chili flakes, oregano, and basil and stir to combine. Increase heat and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.

Cook the pasta and add the sauce into the cooked pasta. Toss to combine.

Serve with extra sauce, Parmesan cheese, and more chili for those interested.
