5 pounds flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 TB salt
2 pounds vegetable shortening (Crisco)
5 cups instant dry milk
3/4 cup baking powder
3 TB cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Pour all dry imgredients into a very large bowl & mix together well

With a pastry blender cut in shortening until mixture looks like cornmeal

Store in zip lock bags or air tight jars/ Tupperware containers

Mix 3 cups with 2/3 cup water for Biscuits
Mix 3 cups with 1 egg & 1+1/2cups water for pancakes
