Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe

1¼ c flour
1 c sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¾ c milk
⅓ cup Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

¼ c melted butter
½ c packed brown sugar
1 can sliced pineapples

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 F.

2. Melt butter and pour in pie pan. Spread brown sugar over butter, place 1 pineapple slice in center and work remaining slices around edge. Fill in as many nooks as possible with cut up pieces.

3. Beat all remaining ingredients in large bowl on low for 30 sec. After you have scraped the bowl, beat on high for 3 min. Pour batter over pineapple. Bake ~35 min or until slightly browned and fully set. Let rest in pan for 10-20 min before flipping the pan. Let sit in pan upside-down for a minute to fully release before removing from cake.
