3 cups pecans
1+3/4 cups flour
3/4cup confectionary sugar
3/4 cup COLD butter, cubed
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1+1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 large eggs
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup unsweetened butter, MELTED
1 cup shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 350º.
Toast pecans, then chop
Line 9 x 13 baking pan with foil & then spray with no stick spray or grease

Whisk together flour, conf. sugar & cocoa. Add butter, using pastry blender, until mix resembles a coarse meal. Press into foil lined sheet. Bake 15 minutes

Remove from oven & immediately sprinkle with chips & let cool for 30 minutes

In a largebowl, beat all eggs. Add brown sugar, corn syrup & melted butter. Whisk until smooth. Stir in coconut & pecans. Pour on top of crust.

Bake 28-34 minutes. Let cool on a rack then refrigerate for about an hour.

Lift bars off sheet by using foil then cut into bars
