8 oz green beans (cut lengthwise
1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems and pieces (drained)
½ cup onion
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (approx 4 oz)
1½ cup milk
¾ cup Bisquick baking mix
3 eggs
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 400º
Lightly grease a 10” pie plate – heat beans in 1” salted water (½ tsp salt to 1 cup water) to boiling – cook uncovered for 5 min – reduce heat - cover and cook until tender (5 to 10 min) – drain – mix beans, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and cheese in pie plate – beat remaining ingredients (milk, Bisquick, eggs, salt and pepper) together until smooth – pour over bean mixture in pie plate – Bake until golden brown and knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean (30 to 35 min) – let stand for 5 min before cutting
