Meat (cubed pork)
Onions
Red beans (soaked overnight)
Okra - 1pkg frozen ; cut into small pieces
tomatoes
ketchup
garlic salt
pepper
tabasco sauce or Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in a little oil, add onions and tomatoes and cook slowly adding a little water at a time. Add garlic salt and pepper and seasoning. When meat is partly done, add red beans and okra and simmer adding water from time to time. When beans and meat are soft add the cooked rice and stir. Add ketchup and spices.

Same procedure for black eyed peas but black eyed peas take a longer time to cook.
