12 oz. salmon, cut into 2 - 3 strips (or use fillets)
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
pinch of cayenne pepper

Sauce:
4 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. warm water
3 tsp. apple cider vinegar
3 tsp. lemon juice

1 Tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ lemon, sliced into wedges

Preparing the salmon:
Season the salmon by sprinkling salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (be careful not to sprinkle on too much, unless you like it very spicy). Set aside fish.

Sauce:
Mix the honey, water, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt together. Stir to combine well.

Cooking:
Heat a skillet pan on the stovetop with olive oil. Pan-fry the salmon until it is half-done. Remove it from the pan and place it on a baking sheet (or another oven-safe baking dish).
In the same pan on the stove, add the garlic and cook until slightly browned.
Next add the honey sauce mixture and the lemon wedges into the pan and cook to reduce the sauce until it's sticky.
Broil the salmon in the oven for 1 minute or until the surface becomes slightly charred.
Put the salmon on plates and pour the honey mixture over the fish and serve.
