2 teas olive oil
2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 sweet onion, finely diced
1(28 oz) can whole, peeled Roma tomatoes with basil

Directions:
Directions:
In medium-sized skillet, heat oil. Add garlic and onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes until golden brown and soft.
Pour sautéed onions and garlic into a 4 quart slow cooker. Add tomatoes and mash with a masher. This will be slightly chunky. If you prefer, use an immersion blender to blend until smooth.
Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
