¼ cup butter
½ cup water
1½ cup packaged herb seasoned stuffing
1 egg (slightly beaten)
¼ lb hot or mild bulk pork sausage
½ to ⅔ lb sliced bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
In sauce pan, melt butter in water – add to stuffing mix – add egg and sausage – blend thoroughly – chill for 1 hour for easier handling – shape into small oblong, about size of a pecan – cut bacon slice into thirds – wrap each piece of stuffing mixture with bacon and fasten with toothpicks – place on rack in shallow pan and bake for 35 min or until brown and crisp – making sure to turn each one over halfway through - drain on a paper towel and serve hot- makes 5 dozen

Note you can freeze these before baking just thaw and then bake
