3 sticks of butter softened
3 ˝ cups sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups cake flour
3 teaspoons lemon extract
Baking Spray

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl for about 15 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time. Alternate adding flour and 7 up. Add lemon extract. Mix well. Add mixture to a 10-inch tube pan coated with baking Spray. Bake or 1 hour and 20 minutes or until cake tests done when a wooden toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Add glaze, if desired. Can also be served as cupcakes with frosting or glaze.
