1 can chunk pineapple, drained
1½ C grated cheddar
1 C bread crumbs
¾ C sugar
3 T flour
⅓ C melted butter

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Pat pineapple and cheese in buttered casserole dish. Mix other ingredients. Spread over pineapple and cheese. Bake for 30-40 minutes.

This recipe was from Alice Shaw, a neighbor from our Coffee Tree Ct. residence in Manassas, VA. Loved this different recipe from a street gathering.

This works well in a 2-1/2 qt casserole dish. If making in a 9 x 13 pan, double the recipe. I prefer to use fresh pineapple to canned.
