1 - 1˝ lb sauted hamburger (or chicken)
1 small pkg barley
Water
1 onion
Beef bouillon
1 carrot, diced or sliced
Salt and pepper
Optional: olives and celery, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté hamburger and onion. Set aside and drain off grease. Add enough water to cook. Put beef bouillon and barley in water. Dice or slice carrot into water at start. Cook barley and vegetables about 45 minutes. Add hamburger, salt and pepper.
