2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup salad oil
2 cups sugar
3 cups grated carrots
1/2 cup chopped nuts
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, & salt

Mix: Oil, sugar

Add carrots & Nuts, then stir

Add flour mixture

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg

Pour into 9" x 13" pan & bake for 45 minutes at 350º
 

Icing


Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix butter, sugar & milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat & add vanilla and nuts.
Pour evenly over warm cake!!
