Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 pkg Dry Yeast
1 cup Warm Water (105-110)
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Sugar
1 Egg, beaten
1 tbsp solid shortening
2 1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º.

1. Mix the dry yeast into the warm water.
2. Separately, mix the shortening, sugar, salt, and egg with the mixer. Add the yeast & water. Add the flour approximately 1/2 cup at a time until blended into a smooth round ball.
3. Pour flour on the counter and make sure the dough is nice and blended. Spray a large with Pam, put the dough in a bowl, cover, place in a warm dry place to rise with a towel, and let rise. If using regular yeast it takes around an hour, if using fast-rising yeast, it takes around 30 minutes.
4. Once it has doubled in size, punch down on the floured surface and roll out. Using a biscuit cutter, glass, or whatever item you have cut the rolled-out dough into round rolls. Spray round pans with Pam, place dough in pans, cover with a towel, place in a warm dry place to rise. It will take about the same rising time as before.
5. Place rolls in over for approximately 8-10 minutes. Golden brown on top.
