Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Beef meat, cut into 1/4 strips
1 clove garlic or to taste
Onion, diced
Mushrooms, sliced
Carrots, chopped fine
2 cans mushroom soup
1 small container sour cream
Salt and pepper
Medium egg noodles

Brown beef in a bit of oil, add garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Place meat in roaster. Saute onion, add carrots and mushrooms and fry for a few minutes longer. Place in roaster with meat, add soup, sour cream, 1 can water and stir. Put in 350 F oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with cooked medium size egg noodles.

- You can simmer in pot on stove top if you wish.
- I add beef broth in place of the water, I find it tones down the mushroom soup.
- Original recipe calls for diced celery and peppers as well
