3 tbsp paprika
1 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried thyme
¼ cup honey
¼ cup red wine vinegar
3 tbsp olive oil
1 onion peeled and cut in half
3-3 ½ lbs pork shoulder (cut in half)

In a medium size mixing bowl, mix first 6 ingredients (all the spices) with a fork - pour honey, vinegar, and olive oil and stir forming a paste - place onion in the bottom of the Crockpot - top with the two pieces of pork - it is OK if some drops to bottom - turn slow cooker on low for 7 to 8 hours or until meat is tender enough to be easily shredded with a fork - remove pork from slow cooker and use a fork to shredded the pork - return to slow cooker and stir then it is ready to serve while still warm - serve with coleslaw and cornbread
