1 cup sugar
4 Tbs water
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp soda
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs - separated
2 cup flour
3 bananas
1/2 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites and set aside.

Sift flour. Add baking powder and soda. Cream bananas with butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Alternate flour and water.
Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites.

Grease and flour pan.
Bake at 325º for 1 1/2 hours.
