2 lbs hamburger
1 15 oz can tomato purée
2 15 oz cans pinto beans, drained
3/4 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup chili powder (less for mild)
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 29 oz can tomato juice
2 15 oz cans kidney beans, drained
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, diced
1 tsp ground cumin (more for flavor)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger in skillet. Drain kidney beans and pinto beans.
Mix all ingredients together in a large pot, mixing well.

Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer. Let simmer for about 20 minutes
stirring occasionally.
