1 8 oz package Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
1 5 oz can minced or diced clams (drained)
1 or 2 large onions (diced) to taste
lemon juice to taste
tabasco sauce to taste
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place softened cream cheese in bowl. Add some of the clam juice, (don't make too soupy), add salt, pepper, lemon juice and tabasco sauce. CombineS well, and sample and add seasonings as needed.

Add onions and and drained clams and mix well. Again tasting as you go and add seasonings to taste, as well as clam juice to arrive at the consistency and taste you are looking for.

Cover and chill over night.

Can be used immediately after you make it, but chilling overnight seems to add more flavor.

I also at times will use 2 cans of clams per cream cheese package to get an extra clam tasting dip.
