1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
5 cups water
1 can 28oz tomatoes
1 can 16oz tomato sauce
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1 cup uncooked Marconi
1 can kidney beans
sugar - light teaspoon

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat in large saucepan drain off fat; Stir in onion and cook for 1 minute; Add water and tomatoes and all spices; Simmer 30 minutes; Add remaining ingredients and cook until macaroni is done 10-15 minutes.
