1 c sugar
1 c Crisco
4 tsp baking soda
1 c molasses
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp salt
2 tsp ginger
4 c flour
1 c sour milk or buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add molasses

Sift 2 c flour with dry ingredients
Stir in sour milk and gradually add remaining flour until stiff enough to roll
Chill

Bake 375º
