1 large or 2 small butternut squash (total 4 lb.) 3 cups chicken broth 1/4 cup butter 1 large onion, diced 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced
Peel squash. Cut into chunks Cook until tender in chicken broth. Melt butter. Saute onion until tender. Add applies until tender. Puree together. Add additional broth if necessary to get to right consistency.
