Pastry for one 9 inch pie crust
12 slices bacon crisply fried and crumbled
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (about 4 oz.)
1/3 cup minced onion
4 eggs
2 cups whipping cream or light cream(20%)
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp cayenne red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425º Prepare pastry. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in a pastry-lined pie pan. Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour cream mixture into pie pan.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 300º and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serve in wedges.
