1 unsliced loaf sourdough bread
12-16 oz monterey jack cheese, thinly sliced
cup butter, melted
cup finely chopped green onion
2 tsp poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise without cutting through the bottom crust. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Insert cheese slices between cuts. Combine butter, onion and poppy seeds. Drizzle over bread. Wrap the loaf of bread in foil and place on a baking sheet Bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
