3 T Butter 2 tsp Vanilla ¾ c Sugar 3 Eggs, well beaten ½ c Chopped Pecans 1 c Dark Corn Syrup ⅛ tsp Salt ½ c Pecan Halves Unbaked Pie Shell
Preheat oven to 450ºF.
Cream butter with vanilla. Gradually add sugar, creaming well after each addition. Thoroughly blend in the chopped pecans along with the corn syrup and salt. Pour into pie shell and arrange pecan halves over top.
Bake at 450ºF for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350ºF and back 30-35 minutes longer.
