1 lb almond paste
¼ lb pignoli nuts
2 cups sugar
4 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together sugar and almond paste - use fingers.

2. Beat egg whites until stiff.

3. Blend egg whites with almond mixture very gently - batter is lumpy.

4. Use 1 tsp for each cookie. Put on un-greased cookie sheet. Put pignoli nuts on top of cookies.

5. Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes.

Makes approximately 64 cookies.
