3-4 whole chickens
3 cups pineapple juice
1 cup vinegar, apple cider
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 catsup
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons salt
1 can chunk pineapple

Directions:

Cut into pieces
Sprinkle with garlic salt
Let stand for 1/2 hour
Roll in beaten egg & flour
Brown and put in big pan, big pan, this makes a huge batch

200 degree oven for 3-4 hours or more

Grandma Hazel was a fan of the get together. Every Mother's Day or her birthday, we gathered at her house. She was a wonderful cook and this was a specialty. We all loved this chicken and it would feed about 20 of us. Her kitchen was miniscule, and yet, she managed to create this big batch along with other food.
