Directions:
Directions:
In a large sauce pot cook sausage, beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until well browned. Stir in all tomato products and the water. Season with sugar, basil, fennel, Italian seasoning, 1tbs salt, pepper and 2tbs parsley. Simmer, covered on low heat for 1½ hours stirring occasionally.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles as box says. Drain them and rinse with cold water. In a mixing bowl mix Ricotta, egg, remaining parsley and ½tsp salt.
Preheat oven to 375º.
To assemble put 1½C of sauce on the bottom of a 9X13 baking pan. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over the sauce. Spread with half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with a third of the mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1½C of meat sauce over the mozzarella and sprinkle with ¼C Parm cheese. Repeat the layers and top with remaining mozz and parm cheese. Cover with foil BUT spray the foil with cooking spray and try to not have it touch the cheese.
Bake in oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and then bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool 15 mins before serving!

Personal Notes:
I love cheese and always use extra! Also I make extra noodles as I get upset when mine break! Expensive meal.
