1 cup flour
¾ cup sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 Tbsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup milk
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1¾ cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, 2 Tbsp. cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth. Spread batter into an ungreased 9" square pan. Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa and sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over entire pan; do not stir. Bake at 350ºF for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm and top with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
