1 cup whole cranberries
3 cups flour
1 ¼ cup sugar
2 Tablespoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon 1 cup milk
3 cup shortening

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place cranberries on paper towel dry well
2. Mix together the dry ingredients and mix in milk a little at a time to make a stiff
dough
3. Flour your hands well, pinch of a small piece of dough put cranberries in middle and
roll into ball, should be size of a Large marble.
4. Place shortening in deep heavy kettle heat to 375º
5. Prop the fritters in oil turning until deep golden brown on all sides, then drop on
paper towel.
