1 lb. ground beef
1 (15-oz.) can chili beans
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
2 T. taco sauce
2-4 T. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 c. broken tortilla chips
1 c. sour cream
1 c. shredded cheese
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 tomato, chopped


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º F. Cook ground beef; drain. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Heat to boil; remove from heat. Place broken chips in bottom of a greased casserole dish. Top with beef mixture. Spread with sour cream. Sprinkle with cheese, onions and tomato. Bake, uncovered, until bubbly, 20-30 minutes.

I think I copied this from Mom's recipes, but I'm not really sure. I have other taco casserole recipes, but I just really like this one. I think baking the sour cream on the casserole makes it more interesting.
