1 lb butter
3 egg yolks
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
½ shot glass ouzo/whiskey/cognac
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup almonds chopped and toasted
4-5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy
Add sugar
Add egg yolks until well blended
Add cognac and vanilla, mix well
Fold in 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda a little at time by hand
Fold in almonds and knead lightly adding more flour until dough is formed and
doesn't stick to fingers

2. Cut out or roll into shapes

3. Bake until golden brown

4. When warm ( not hot), spray with rose water, then roll in powder sugar

5. Once cooled, roll in powder sugar again
