1 - 1 lb can small, whole beets
1 - 1 lb can pineapple chucks (diced)
2 TB dark (apple cider?) vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
2 TB cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Place beets & pineapple in a saucepan with all liquids.

Bring to a boil then add vinegar & sugar & simmer for a few minutes.

Add enough water to the cornstarch to make a paste, then add to the saucepan & continue to cook, stirring often, until thick & clear

Remove from heat & serve with poultry or pork
