Ingredients:
3 cups milk- scald with 1 cube butter
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 well beaten eggs
3 packages yeast- quick rise is fine
Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald butter and milk- set aside to cool.
Put combined sugar and salt into large mixing bowl. Add slightly cooled milk- needs to be warm but not hot to activate yeast. Add eggs and yeast. Stir thoroughly until yeast is melted in. Add enough flour to make stirring batter. Cover with dry towel and let rise in warm area. Add flour and work dough with heel of hands on well floured board until soft dough is made- use just enough flour to handle. Put into vegetable-oiled bowl and turn to grease top. Let raise then punch down and let raise again. Form into rolls as you like- I use small drinking glass then put melted butter on half and fold. Line up into buttered glass pan.

Personal Notes:
These are the rolls I make for holidays. I often use the scraps for a cinnamon twist. Also use this dough for cinnamon rolls.
