1 pkg. butter flavor cake mix
2 C sugar
1 8 oz. sour cream
1 12 oz. pkg frozen coconut, thawed
1 1/2 C Cool Whip

Prepare the cake mix making 2, 8" dia. layers. Split both layers
horizontally after they've cooled. Blend together sugar, sour
cream, coconut and chill. Spread all but 1 cup sour cream
mixture between the 4 layers. Blend the remaining cup of
mixture with the Cool Whip and spread on the top and sides of
cake. Seal in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 days.
Keep refrigerated after serving.
