Oyster Dressing Recipe

Bread crumbs (1 loaf French bread dried 1 1/2 inch) or 3 bags bread crumbs
3 eggs beatened
Poultry seasonings
2 C celery diced
2 C onions diced
1 T fresh sage chopped.
Sugar
Apple cubed
2 cans 8 oz oysters, plus 1 pint fresh oysters ( add oysters last)
3 T butter
1 1/2 C chicken broth
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté celery, onions and fresh sage in butter.

Broil on low last 5 to 10 min (crusty)
Bake at 375 degrees in convection oven. Grease pan with chris o. Bake for 1 hour to 70 min

Sauté celery and onions until tender.
Sprinkle seasonings on breadcrumbs. Slightly beat eggs and add to dry breadcrumbs.
Cut up oysters and reserve juice
Cut up butter and add to dressing. Add oysters and juice. Mix lightly
Heat 1 1/2 C chicken broth and 3 T butter
Add to breadcrumbs. Mix lightly
Put in 13 x 9 casserole dish that has been greased with Cisco.
Bake at 350 degrees 3rd shelf for 60 to 70 min.
Spoon in outside edges 3/4 of the way through baking and raise to middle shelf.
