Barb Murdock

2 16 oz. packages of frozen french style green beans
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 6 oz. can French fried onions.

Cook green beans for 5 minutes.
Mix together can of soup, cup cheese, and can of french fried onions.
Add green beans and mix well.
Place in a greased baking dish or microwave dish.
Sprinkle with remainder of cheese and french fried onions.

Bake for about hour in oven, or 5 minutes in the microwave.

For holidays, Mom and Gramma Hilda would always have plain green beans with the meal. This hotdish is an updated version that we all enjoy when the family gets together. It's interesting how holiday food traditions evolve for families over time.
The above photo is taken at Barb's and Jim's house in Duluth. Lily passed out the turkey feathers and asked each person present to write down something they were thankful for. Thus, the colorful turkey!!
