¾ lb. Monterey Jack cheese
3 c. cooked white rice
3 c. sour cream
2 cans diced green chilis

Butter 13 x 9 in casserole dish. Mix sour cream and chilis - put aside. In casserole dish put layers of cheese strips, sour cream mixture and rice. Repeat. End with rice on top. Bake at 350º for 30 min. Then add ½ c. grated cheese on top and bake 5 more min.
