6 cups brown sugar
1 pound butter
1 can carnation milk
1 kg. icing sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, butter, and milk
Boil hard for 8 minutes
remove from heat
Add icing sugar beat in with electric beater
pour unto cookie sheet
let set 10-15 minutes
cut


for chocolate add 1 half cup cocoa and boil for 5 minutes

this is a fudge one of the staff at the bank in Halifax used to sell around Xmas
she used to make it with shortening but I think it tastes better with butter
