1 lb. ground beef
Dried minced onion
1 can tomato soup
Worcestershire sauce
Liquid smoke
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with desired amount of dried minced onion. Drain grease. Add tomato soup, 3 to 4 splashes of Worcestershire sauce, and a few drops of liquid smoke. Stir together and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on buns.

To me, this is how you make sloppy joes. I have no idea if Mom made this recipe up, or if she found it somewhere. It is the only sloppy joe recipe she ever made, and it's still the only one I ever make.
