1 pkg yeast
¼ cup lukewarm water
5/8 cup Crisco
2 cups scalded milk
5 ½ cups (approx) Pillsbury Bread Flour
2 tsp salt
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in in ¼ cup lukewarm water with 1 tsp sugar sprinkled on top, to start yeast.
While yeast is softening, scald milk. (Do not boil.) Dissolve Crisco in hot milk. Add ½ cup sugar to milk-Crisco mixture. Cool. Sift flour with salt in large bowl. Beat 1 egg. When milk is barely lukewarm, add yeast mixture and egg to milk mixture. Dump it into flour and stir to make a dough.It will be a little sticky. Put plate over dough and set aside to rise until double. Stir again, place in refrigerator until ready to shape rolls Shape rolls. Let rise and bake at 425º until
