4 cups sliced tart apples (4 med.)
⅔ cup packed brown sugar
cup all-purpose flour
cup old-fashion oatmeal
⅓ cup butter, room temperature
teaspoon ground cinnamon
teaspoon ground nutmeg

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches. Put sliced apples in pan Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples.Bake about 30 minutes, until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
