1 c. sugar
½ c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
½ c. sour cream
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2½ to 3 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and butter, add eggs and vanilla. Separately, combine sour cream and baking soda, let sit while sifting together flour and baking powder. Stir together creamed mixture and sour cream, lastly add flour gradually until you produce a soft dough (more flour may be needed). Refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour, roll out ¼" thick and cut out cookies. Bake at 375º for 8-10 until just lightly golden at the edges.
