1 c. butter, melted, slightly cooled
2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. dry active yeast
½ c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
6½ c. all-purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400º.
2. Combine butter, water, yeast and sugar.
3. Mix gently and set aside for 3 - 5 minutes until bubbly.
4. Add eggs, salt, baking powder, and 2 c. flour.
5. Mix well.
6. Add remaining 4½ c. flour and mix until combined.
7. Cover bowl with plastic wrap sprayed with nonstick spray and let rise about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
8. Divide dough in half and roll each half into a large circle using extra flour as need.
9. Slice each half into 16 equal slices.
10. Roll each piece starting at the large end.
11. Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise an additional 30 minutes.
12. Bake for 12 minutes.
13. Rub with a cold stick of butter over the warm rolls when they come out of the oven, if desired.

To make whole wheat rolls, sub out half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour
Warm water should be between 110-115º. I feel the tap water with my fingers and it should sting a bit, but not cause you to jerk your hand back
