1 9-inch pie crust
¾ cup sugar
½ cup butter
1 1/3 cups corn syrup
½ teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1 cup chopped pecans


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Prepare crust. Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, salt, and eggs with mixer. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Bake until set, 40-50 minutes. Refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.

This recipe has more filling than the traditional recipe, but about 1/3. I usually cook it for a longer time at 350 degrees.
