Unbaked pastry shell

Filling:
7 tart cooking apples
1/4 c butter or margarine
3/4 c sugar
2 tablespoon flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Streusal topping:
1/3 cup butter or margarine
3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar packed
1/4 c nuts, chopped
6 maraschino cherries chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Pare, core and slice apples. Toss apple slices in melted butter until well coated. Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apple slices and toss lightly. Spread apple pie in the shell. Combine ingredients for streusel topping, blending until crumbly. Sprinkle around top edge of pie.

Bake until apples are tender at 400F about 50-55 minutes.

When cool service with whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
