1 c quick oats
1 T butter
1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 c warm water
1/2 c molasses
2 t salt
4⅔ c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare oats by bringing 2 cups of water to boil. Stir in quick oats and butter. Let sit one hour. Soak yeast in the cup warm (not hot!) water for five minutes. Stir until mixed. Add molasses, salt, and oatmeal mixture. Stir well. Add the flour. Knead for about 8 minutes. Allow to rise until doubled. Divide in half and shape into two loaves. Put in greased pans. Cover and let rise until doubled. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes.
