4 apples, cooked almost soft
1 c. raisins
1 c. currants
c. sugar
teaspoon nutmeg
teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vinegar

mix ingredients together
cool mixture
make enough pastry as for two pie crusts
roll out half very thin
place in shallow oblong pan
spread with above mixture
cover with another layer of pastry
bake in quick oven 10-15 minutes
when cool cover top with sifted confectioners sugar
cut into two inch squares
