3 c. flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1½ shortening, or slightly less
1 egg
1 tbsp. sugar
5 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix baking powder, flour, and salt. Cut shortening into flour mixture. Separately, beat together egg, sugar, water, and vinegar. Combine wet and dry ingredients until barely mixed. Roll out until ⅜", cut into circles and place in pie pans. Makes three regular pie crusts. Dough can be frozen and used later. Bake, if desired, at 425º until lightly brown.
