4 eggs
2 c. flour
1¾ c. half & half
1 pkg. dry yeast
¼ c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
Optional ingredients: nutmeg, lemon, raisins, or currents

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in ¼ c. of warm (105-115ºF) water. Heat half & half to lukewarm, add sugar and salt and dissolve. Separately, beat eggs, then add yeast and half & half mixtures. Gradually add in flour, let sit for 1 hour. Grease Ebelskiver pan with shortening. Fill the pan sections about ¾ full. Cook until bubbling around edge, then flip with wooden skewer, complete cooking.
